Covid 19 Vaccine Second Dose

Covid 19 Vaccine Second Dose

We got up around 5 a.m. to prepare for our second dose of the vaccine. When we had our first jab, arriving late meant we couldn’t secure a good spot in the queue. This time, there was still a long line, as many people were waiting for their turn. The wait was longer for us previously because we hadn’t come early enough. Phnom Penh has now entered a “new normal,” requiring vaccination cards at all establishments. This likely explains why so many unvaccinated people showed up at the hospital so early in the morning.

The government had been running vaccination campaigns for several months, and many centers were opened, though some people remained reluctant to get the jab. By 10 a.m., we were done—thanks to arriving early this time. And yes, boosters are coming. What? Boosters? Yes! But saints, fear not—it’s time for celebration.
