BRO ORSEL DUMANON Cambodia Visit: 18February-6March, 2014

Bro. Orsel was the second foreign minister to visit me in Cambodia, following Bro. Gan’s earlier trip. His first visit took place in 2009, shortly after Bro. Gan had come to see the fellowship. Bro. Orsel stayed with us for about two weeks, during which he preached the Word both in the church and in several villages. His ministry was a blessing and greatly encouraged the believers.

The Centre was located in a very isolated area, and in 2009 it was far less developed than it is today. Ministers often found it difficult to stay there for long periods. The Centre itself was owned by a Korean, and by God’s grace I became the church leader there in 2009. At that time, it was still a young fellowship.

Bro. Orsel came to help nurture the work, watering the seeds that had been planted. Together, we traveled to several villages in the surrounding area to preach the gospel. In some places, we had to walk on foot along muddy, unmotorable roads to reach the people. Despite the challenges, the ministry was fruitful.

He returned several more times to support the work, and his ministry in Cambodia has been extensive and deeply impactful.

On February 18, 2014, Bro. Orsel returned to Cambodia, and I was at the airport to receive him. It was a joy to welcome him back and to see him once again minister to the flock in Cambodia.

By this time, the Lord had opened doors to other provinces, so I took him to Takeo Province in Kirivong District. During this trip, we visited about four different churches in the area, where Bro. Orsel preached in each one. He made use of the PR chart to explain important topics such as the Church Ages. The pastors warmly received him and greatly appreciated both his teaching and his spirit.

Bro. Orsel remained in Cambodia for twelve days during this trip, departing on March 6, 2014. He is a minister from the Philippines whose dedication and service have been a blessing to the fellowship in Cambodia.
