BRO JOSEPH SHADRACH. Cambodia Visit: 6-23 March, 2017

Bro. Joseph Shadrach visited Cambodia on March 6, 2017. Before his arrival, I had often visited his website and read many inspiring testimonies of what the Lord has been doing through his ministry. We also communicated via WhatsApp, and I sent him an invitation letter. On the day of his arrival, I was at the airport to welcome him, and we took a Tuk-Tuk to my home. At the time, we were renting a house with an extra room for visitors, where Bro. Shadrach was accommodated. Later that evening, we shared supper together.

The only difficulty was that his room had no air conditioning, and the weather was hot. However, Bro. Shadrach has a true missionary spirit—he is able to endure extreme conditions without complaint. He is full of energy, and I often thought that if he had access to a private jet and free visas, he could evangelize the world in thirty days. He had even expressed a desire to travel with me to Laos and Vietnam during his visit, but there were many obstacles to such a journey, particularly with visas.

I took him to the office where there was internet access so he could call his family in India. He dislikes wasting time and always seeks to engage in the Lord’s work at every opportunity. The very next day, he was already preaching at the home of university students, an arrangement made possible by a Cambodian brother who once worked with me in the office.

A few days later, the Lord opened a door for Bro. Shadrach to preach at a church in Phnom Penh. When we arrived, he played a beautiful song on his guitar before delivering a powerful message on Bible Pictures. The message was well received, and he preached with great passion for nearly an hour.

Our next destination was Kratie Province, located about 300 kilometers from Phnom Penh, where we live. We left early in the morning by bus and, upon arrival, stayed overnight in a guesthouse. The pastor and congregation warmly welcomed us, and the message shared during the service was truly uplifting and a blessing to all who attended.

The following day, we returned to Phnom Penh, thankful for the fellowship and the opportunity to minister in Kratie.

The final place where Bro. Shadrach ministered during his visit was at our office in Phnom Penh. A large group of university students attended and listened attentively to his message. After the service, they gladly took photos with him, capturing a moment they clearly treasured. It was a blessed meeting that left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Later, we traveled to a suburb of Phnom Penh to distribute gifts to the children. Their joy was evident, and it was a beautiful and meaningful way to conclude Bro. Shadrach’s visit.

The 23rd of March arrived quickly, and it was time for him to return home. I accompanied him to the airport and waved as he took the elevator to the next floor to pass through immigration. Brother Joseph Shadrach is from India.
