Brother Felimon “Nonoy” Togonon came to Cambodia on the 25th May, 2010.
I was there as usual to receive him. Bro Gan had already sent to me a photo of him to be able to identify him when he arrives. However, it was even easier for him to identify me as a black among the Asians. He didn’t have problems with the immigration as the Brothers coming from Africa. He just had to pay the $25 for his tourist visa and was allowed to enter Cambodia.
We traveled home but later looked for a guest house for him. There were no rooms for guest in the house the Korean Missionary rented for students in Phnom Penh. However, he had his meals with us at home. He needed some special meals and I remember him asking my wife Debora to from time to time to buy for him bitter gourds. I had heard much about Brother Nonoy before he could travel to Cambodia and even when I traveled to the Philippines. He is a very quiet man and speaks little. But when he opens the Bible he can speak for hours. He taught me many deep things in the Bible.

We traveled to the kampong Speu province where he spent a few days preaching the gospel in the Church. From there we also traveled to another province called Koh Kong. We visited many church groups around the area.

Bro Nonoy was always ready to feed the flock. We had a wonderful fellowship with Brother Nonoy in all the places we visited in Cambodia, and the believers were blessed. Bro Nonoy is from the Philippines.
